ASTRONAUT AARDVARK ATTACK (AAaA) is a duo - brothers Pacer and The Stride. The band self-released an LP, "Songs for the Escape Pod" (2019). Four singles have followed: "Tin Feet" (2020); "You Can't Pretend (To Be Vaccinated)" (2021); "Sucker Punch" (April, 2023); "Blue Sea" (May, 2023). A sophomore LP will be released in 2024 (date to be determined). 

The band boasts eclectic indie-pop, alternative, and shoegazing tunes that are heavy in up-beat tempos, unforgettable guitar hooks, compelling lyrics, power synths, Hammond organs, electric pianos, and melodic bass lines. The music is a mash-up of Indie-pop/shoegaze, New Wave, ‘90’s alternative, Classic Rock, Post Punk, and world (celtic and bluegrass influences). The boys have a signature sound but find inspiration from Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, Rush, Parliament, REM, Talking Heads, The Cars, David Bowie, No Doubt, Slowdive, Jethro Tull, The Church, U2, The Smiths, and The Police, and others.
